Lady GaGa Talks About Her Stylist's New Gig

It should come as no surprise that Lady GaGa is thrilled that her stylist Nicola Formichetti has been appointed the new creative director at Thierry Mugler.

Gagita had this to say about Nicola:

Blood pumps through Nicola's veins like perfume and cigarettes. His brain throbs with misfit royalty, glamour as punk survival, attitude as liberation, style as revolution. Nicola Formichetti is Fashion's Freedom. I love him, my friend the genius, my collaborator, more than any piece of clothing or closet I possess. But don't tell him I said that, he'll die. He picked them all out.

Early Monday morning Lady GaGa's stylist Nicola Formichetti announced he is now the creative director at Thierry Mugler.

We wouldn't be surprised to see GaGa debuting Nicola's designs.

Thierry Mugler Closes In On Nicola Formichetti

It's beginning to look like Nicola Formichetti is that much closer to becoming artistic director at Thierry Mugler.

As we mentioned back in June, their were rumors going around that the fashion house had both Gareth Pugh and GaGa's stylist in mind for the gig, but according to new reports Nicola is the front runner.

Thierry Mugler is said to be working on a contract for the hottest stylist in the biz, which would seal the deal.

Well this is inneresting.

Although many have been speculating that designer Gareth Pugh would be taking over the position of artistic director at Thierry Mugler, one source is saying it's Nicola Formichetti!

If this rumor is true, Nicola will definitely have his hands full.

Not only is he the fashion director for Vogue Hommes Japan and creative director for Dazed & Confused he's also the stylist and mastermind behind Lady GaGa's Haus of GaGa.

Hopefully we'll find out the replacement sooner than later!
