Could some designer outfits be harmful? According to a new finding by China's Zhejiang Commerce bureau, they could be.
Shen Yan, one of the officials at the bureau, claims they collected samples from many of the department stores in some of their richest cities and found over 60% of the clothes inspected to have been poorly made or mislabeled.
Among the brands with the poor ratings were Dolce & Gabbana, Hugo Boss, Versace, and Hermes which failed quality control tests.
The inspectors found that some clothes even contained high levels of acid or formaldehyde which "could have caused skin rashes, eye irritations, allergies, respiratory problems and even cancer."
The clothes, not made in China, were found to have been made in other countries including Italy, France, Turkey, India, and Vietnam.
As for the Chinese, they're not letting this slide. Instead, officials are fining retailers who sell the tainted clothes and forcing them to remove the items.
China will not be fining the designer labels as they're aren't registered as businesses in China.
Wonder if any of the hazardous items are being sold in the US?

A new study claims that the cheap version of UGGs are breaking women's feet!
According to Dr. Ian Drysdale, head of the British College of Osteopathic Medicine, says:
"Because these boots are warm and soft, young girls think they are giving their feet a break. In fact, they are literally breaking their feet. Their feet are slipping around inside. With each step, the force falls towards the inside of the foot, and the feet splay. This flattens the arch and makes it drop. The result can be significant problems with the foot, the ankle, and ultimately, the hip."
Podiatrists and chiropractors blame the boots for an alarming rise in toe deformities and back pain.
Apparently, women should splurge on the brand-name UGGs because they have the reinforced heels and insoles that prevent such issues.
Will U toss your knockoffs, ladies?!

Tea-he!
German novelty company Donkey Products has come out with a tea bag collection that can have you sipping with fashion's biggest names.
The Prêt-à-porTea "tea party" bags let Karl Lagerfeld, Jean Paul Gaultier, Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer and Donatella Versace take a dip in your cup while turning your warm water into a delicious tea blend.
However, we advise you to be careful with Naomi. She may throw her cellphone down into the cup, resulting in hot tea scalding your face.

We called it!
Barely a week after Rie Rasmussen accused photographer Terry Richardson of manipulating young models, another model confirms those allegations!
Jamie Peck, who was 19 at the time of her shoot with Terry and had posed numerous times in the nude for other photographers, says "he's the only one who's left me feeling like I needed to take two showers."
Nasty!
Jamie originally met the photog at a party, where she posed for him and then again at his studio. She says he took her picture while she danced around naked and asked her to call him Uncle Terry and that's before things got weird. Peck describes in detail of her second session with the Richardson:
"Before I could say “whoa, whoa, whoa!” dude was wearing only his tattoos and waggling the biggest d*ck I’d ever seen dangerously close to my unclothed person (granted, I hadn’t seen very many yet). 'Why don’t you take some pictures of me?' he asked. Um, sure.
So his assistants took pictures of me taking pictures of him. All the while, he was dropping names like they were hot…"
And the here's the kicker: Jamie claims Terry got her to perform sexual favors and offered her a signed print as payment.
clASSy.
However, Jamie declined because she "felt so gross about the whole thing".
We have a feeling there's a couple of models that can top that story. How long until they come forward???
