Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens are both featured in the February issue of Vanity Fair in an up-and-comers spread, shot by Norman Jean Roy. We love Vanity Fair, but we're not really crazy about what they did here.
The first picture of Selena, in the lavender-grey Roberto Cavalli gown, completely ages her. Who styled this?? Between the color of the dress and the hair, it's way too old for a 17-year old girl - it would be better suited for a 60-year-old. Can't you just see Jane Fonda rocking the same look?? We far prefer the outtake photo of Selena in the long white gown, where she looks youthful and sweet.
While Vadge isn't our favorite, we'll admit that the girl can take a good picture, but again, we don't like what they've done here. In the featured closeup, what's going on with her right eye?? Funky!
We don't like the makeup, it washes her out, and while we think the full body shot of her from the outtakes is prettier, it's still lackluster.
