Christie Brinkley Makes Peace With Her Ex

Christie Brinkley has apparently moved on from her past and forgotten about all the negative things she’s ever said about her ex-husband Peter Cook.

You know, like calling him a douchebag “pervert” and “an unfit father.”

The supermodel, who currently has sole custody of her two children, is now allowing her ex to take care of her kids.

The reason?

She needs a babysitter for almost four months while she makes her debut in Broadway’s Chicago.

An insider reveals:

"There was a long period of time when she didn't even want the children to be left alone with Peter or for him to be able to see them at all.

Christie did win custody, but Peter has been seeing them, just not nearly as much as he'd like.

She is scrambling to make nice with Peter so he'd agree to keep the kids for four months.

Peter is actually thrilled that he'll have the children for that long, but he's also glad that people will finally see that Christie is OK with having her kids stay with the same man she's spent so long trying to depict as such a horrible father."

Peter will be taking care of 12-year-old Sailor and 15-year-old Jack.

Here’s to hoping all goes well and the kids have a good time under their dad’s care.
