Oh boy!
Popular handbag company Dooney & Burke has teamed up with Disney for a collection of handbags featuring the iconic rodent.
The colorful range of bags showcase both Minnie and Mickey Mouse in some D&B's best known silhouettes and are selling anywhere between $49 and $220.

Just about everything is turning into a musical!
Like Alain Chamfort's rock album turned stage musical about Yves St. Laurent, Malcolm McLaren is also working on a musical based on Christian Dior.
All McLaren would say to Paper Magazine about the project is it "has stayed in my heart for a long time. And as I struggle with it, and will it into production, I believe it will emerge triumphant."
Innerestingly enough Malcolm has approached Disney to produce the musical. Guess we'll have to wait and see if they'll jump on the designer bandwagon.
Would U see a musical about Dior???

If Disney Couture didn't win over your little Mickey Mouse shaped heart, then maybe this will.
Disney Consumer Products and couture designer Kirstie Kelly debuted the new Disney Fairy Tale Wedding collection during New York's Bridal Week.
Kelly, who has been designing for the House of Wedding Chapel of Mouse for a couple years now, revealed her new gowns that were inspired by iconic characters including Snow White and the newest Disney addition Princess Tiana from The Princess and the Frog.
We're not sure how many people would buy a Disney gown, but it must be sorta popular since they keep coming out with new stuff, right?

Disney Couture will be launching a new collection of t-shirts, handbags, scarves, jewelry and stationary inspired by the book The Art of the Disney Princess.
Couture stationary? Really!?
The line is expected to launch next February in department stores and specialty retailers.
Good choice on going to department stores with this, because we have a feeling you're not going to be having many buyers in your new retail entertainment stores.
We're a little iffy on this idea.
For the childrenz? Sure. But for adults? Maybe if you're actually at the Disney parks, but wearing Ariel on your chest when you're pushing 30, kind of childish.

After nearly 50 years of wearing the same dated duds, Tinker Bell has finally gotten a makeover!
For the latest Tinker Bell flick, Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure, Pixar co-founder John Lasseter wanted to give Tink a stylish but practical outfit that reflected current trends but also the film's Autumn setting. "I began thinking what the costume design would be for each season," he says. "The weather is cooler [in fall], and her outfit should reflect that."
Clad in knee-high flat boots, tights, a mini skirt, capelet and hat, Tinker Bell is at the height of fall fairy fashion.
"We wanted to make Tink as real as possible in Lost Treasure," director Klay Hall said. "It made sense she was going to put on a jacket, leggings, and boots. This is sort of a new phase for Tink, and the look brings her up to the current feeling we are trying to convey."
The decision to update the iconic pixie's garb was not taken lightly; when a character's ensemble changes, so, too, do costumes of park and resort employees, as well as dolls and merchandise involving Tink. Fortunately, the changes have been well received so far, and the costumes worn by Disney workers will be made of organic, eco-friendly materials.
And while Tinker Bell's look may be updated, she hasn't lost her unique flare. "We wanted her to still be cute and charming, and not mess with who she was. You have to be careful," said Hall. "We kept her iconic white pompoms on her boots. I love those pompoms. They are what make her adorable."
Cute!
Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure hits stores October 27th.
