All eyes were on Elle Macpherson at the National Television Awards on Wednesday night, but probably for different reasons.

The Body wore a beautiful smoke gray Tom Ford crystal and lace gown, but she had to go and ruin it by wearing a god awful hairpiece.

Not only does it not work with the dress, but it looks fake and cheap.

Why not pull it back in a bun or sleek ponytail? It would have made all the difference.

The 27 47-year-old Australian model hit the surf at Wategos Beach at Cape Byron.

The hottie looked like she was having a lot of fun on the beach despite a wipeout.

Today was Elle’s last day on vacation as she was later spotted heading back home up north.
